We are looking for a Lead CNC machinist who is experienced in setting up and changing over CNC and manual machines and has a working knowledge of programing in G-Code among other ability’s.
The person for this position is responsible for machining, programing, costing and other business related duties required to manufacture production parts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Set-up, operate and tear down manual, automatic, or computer numeric controlled (CNC) machine tools.
• Write and edit programs in G-Code (Fanuc controls)
• Plans Machining by working from blueprints, sketches, or computer-aided design (CAD) or computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) files. Calculate dimensions using measuring instrument.
• Install, align, secure and adjust cutting tools and workpieces.
• Measure and examine, completed products for defects.
• Documents actions by completing production and quality logs.
• Maintains safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Familiar with ISO 9000/15 or other ISO standards.
• Responsible for packing / labeling / arranging freight and shipping
• Technical degree from a trade or school or community college; or 5+ years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience on CNC Machines.
• Metal working knowledge and experience is a must as it relates to the manufacturing and machining of various types of steel and metals.
• Computer Skills:
• Strong PC skills and basic knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of CNC, CAD, CAM and G-Code
